Yo What’s up peoples!?! I wanted to share this clip I came across on you tube about a dance step called the “Bus Stop”!! This was a party dance they did back in the 90’s when house was hitting the main stream different areas had there own little take on it and did a little different but the basics are the same. Here they show the basic “Bus Stop” and variation I like called the “Down Town”. House Dance these days shows a lot of footwork, jacking, and lofting techniques what I don’t see as much of, on the internet anyways is the vibe of the party dances. You know where u see everyone in the club rocking the same step if you ever are in this energy you’ll know what I’m talking about. Its fresh, addictive, and just a hella good time. So, I thought this would be a good post .... real quick. You know how when you go to You Tube and based on what you usually search for our view it automatically shows you videos right when you log on. Well, I went to jump on you tube to check out some dance shit while me and the collective are about to hit the club, and the first video that automatically pops up is a tribute video to Gary Kendell. Man, for those of you who were blessed by Gee you will understand why I had to just quickly write a post and give props. Gary Kendell was one of the most influencial people of my generation (in dance). I grew up idolizing "Mind Tricks" (thats after the name change from "Jedi Mind Tricks"). So in any case Gary has passed on - RIP - but has really passed much more than most of us could ever dream in the ways of life and dance. Flo wanted to thank everyone that came out to the Grow House party.  It was definatley a fun night for those of you that came out to support and get down, we had some good vibes!  Thanks to Jayvi Velasco for throwin down the heaters!  Man, those tracks were nasty - he kept a good ride the whole night!.  Also for those of you who made it to Meech's workshop thank you so much, its always good to spread the House dance culture and by supporting Meech you are not only getting a great experience but feeding the scene.  Once again thank you from the Flo-Collective stay tuned for up comming events, especially the big Grow House dance competition in October!  Peace!

We are in the process of testing out some new "badge" prototypes for the Kyte platform.  Hopefully this will help us in launching our HouseDance TV channel very soon!  Look to hearing more about this in conjunction with our Grow House events!
